Seriously, I just set a new personal best for "deadtime"--time I've been away from dA for so long that it looks like I died. It's been almost three months since I last got on and checked everything out. Holy crap. Well, I guess time flies when you're... doing something. So it looks like the last time I did anything on this page was right after Anime North. A lot of shit has happened since, so I'll try and keep it brief. First, I signed up with a medical weight loss clinic almost immediately after Anime North. This weekend I went up with a lovely group of friends to have a go at Anime North. I've never been to conventions outside of the States, so I was expecting an interesting experience. Anime North delivered on that promise. My journey started at 7am on Thursday; I drove down to meet my friends in Connecticut and then continue on north. After what can only be described as a comedy of errors (missed alarms, getting locked out of houses, forgetting costume pieces, and neglecting to bring the surprise graduation cake made for one of our party), we finally departed southern Connecticut at 4:30pm--for a 7ish hour drive.
